01 — What This Policy Covers
What this policy covers.
This policy explains how Symmetryix, a program operated by Posturepro, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you submit a case file for eligibility review.
By submitting your information through this website, you consent to the handling described here. If you do not agree, do not submit a case file.
02 — What We Collect
What we collect.
To review your eligibility for the Symmetryix program, we collect the following:
- Identification. First name, last name, email, phone number, country of residence, age.
- Case description. Your written description of what you have tried and what you are seeking.
- Photographs. Jaw and bite photographs and postural photographs that you capture and upload.
- Imaging. Your panoramic X-ray, if you choose to submit one.
- Supplementary records. CBCT scans, prior diagnoses, surgery reports, or other documents you choose to provide.
- Payment confirmation. A record that the Step I fee was paid. Card details are never seen or stored by us — they go directly to our payment processor.
- Basic technical data. Browser type, device type, and IP address, used only to keep the website secure and working.
03 — How We Use Your Information
How we use your information.
Your information is used for one purpose: to review your case and, if appropriate, to coordinate your treatment pathway.
Specifically:
- To allow the specialist to review your jaw, bite, posture, and any imaging you submit
- To contact you with the written eligibility result
- To coordinate Step II if you are approved and you choose to proceed
- To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose unrelated to your case.
04 — Case File Storage
Where your case file lives.
Your case file is stored in private, encrypted cloud storage controlled by Posturepro. Each submission lives in its own private folder, accessible only to the specialist and the Posturepro clinical team.
Your case file is not stored on this website. It is not stored on any public service. It is not stored on personal devices.
One rule above all.Your case file is never published, never sold, never used in marketing, and never shared with any third party without your prior written permission.
05 — Camera & Face Detection
Camera and face detection.
When you choose to capture photos through the guided in-browser camera, two things happen:
- The live video runs entirely on your device. Frames from your camera are processed locally by your browser. They are never transmitted to Symmetryix, Posturepro, Google, or any other third party while you are positioning yourself.
- Only the final still image you accept is uploaded. The discarded frames and any intermediate face-detection data never leave your device. If you retake the photo, the previous attempt is gone the moment the new one replaces it.
The face-detection technology we use is open-source software that runs in your browser. We do not generate or store biometric identifiers from your face beyond what is visible in the final photograph you choose to submit.
06 — Payments
Payments.
Your Step I payment is processed by a third-party payment provider (currently Stripe). They handle your card details directly under their own privacy and security policies.
Symmetryix receives only a confirmation that the payment was successful, the amount, the date, the payer's name, and the payer's email. We do not see, store, or transmit your card details.
07 — Cookies & Analytics
Cookies and analytics.
This website uses minimal first-party cookies required for the form, payment, and upload flow to function. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioural tracking.
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many visitors arrive on the site and where they came from. No individual user is identified.
08 — Sharing With Third Parties
Sharing with third parties.
Your case file is shared only with:
- The specialist responsible for your eligibility review
- The Posturepro clinical team responsible for coordinating your pathway
We use trusted third-party services to operate the site (web hosting, payment processing, encrypted cloud storage, email delivery). These services see only the minimum information required to do their job. They are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data-protection law.
We never sell your information. We never share your information with marketing networks, data brokers, advertising platforms, or any other third party that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the Symmetryix program.
09 — Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights over the personal information we hold. These typically include:

10 — Data Retention
Data retention.
We keep your case file for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide the Symmetryix program and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
If you are not approved and you do not request deletion, we keep your case file for a maximum of seven years, then it is securely deleted. If you ask us to delete your file earlier, we will do so promptly unless we are legally required to retain it.
If you are approved and become a Symmetryix client, your case file is retained as part of your clinical record in line with the medical-record retention rules that apply to the treating practitioners.
